Layered materials with thicknesses on the atomic scale (2D materials) promise to revolutionize sensing, photonics, and electronics. However, without a viable integration technology for manufacturing on industrial scale, 2D materials will never deliver the great potential they hold.
Our technology is a promising solution to this problem. It uses only established equipment and materials that are already available in semiconductor foundries – a crucial prerequisite for the price- and risk-sensitive semiconductor industry.
